About Me

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Why did you choose to become a hall director?

When I was at UMass Amherst, I held a few different student leadership roles and quickly realized how much I loved being able to make a positive difference in students' lives. I’ve also noticed that in student-centered roles, I never feel like I’m “clocked in.” The joy of being part of something far larger than myself allows me to work without feeling like I’m working.

Why did you choose to work at Res Life at UNH?

New Hampshire has always held a special place in my heart! Living and working in Durham allows me to be closer to the places I love, like the White Mountains, Lake Winnipesaukee, and the coast. Plus, after learning more about UNH’s commitment to student success and meeting the amazing Res Life team, I knew this was the place for me.

What advice would you give to students?

Think of rejection as redirection! It can be tough to see at first, but these challenges often lead us to new opportunities. Whether it’s a rejection from a program you were excited about or a roommate who you just don’t click with, difficult experiences help shape us for the good stuff that’s on the way! Learning to think of my own challenges in this way has allowed me to channel stress into excitement for the future.
