Concord, NH 03301
United States

This training will focus on adults/parents dealing with mental health challenges. For workers in the field of child welfare, it is important to have an understanding of the stigma surrounding mental health issues, different signs and symptoms, types of diagnoses, and strategies for working with families. Having a family member with mental illness affects the whole family unit. It is also important to have knowledge about how children in the family are affected. Throughout the training, participants will connect the information they are learning to their work in the field.
