A Primer of Foster/Kinship for DCYF Staff CORE 2024-4

This CORE course is a fully online, self led course.

The process of becoming a foster or kinship caregiver requires familiarity with various systems, knowledge of children and families who come into care, understanding of the impact of abuse and neglect, and the willingness to care for and participate in ongoing training. This module introduces foster family and kinship care and will discuss what is involved in the process and the impact on individual families.
