Are you worried about your privacy and security of your home network?
The University of New Hampshire Broadband Center of Excellence (BCoE) has created a checklist for individuals to use in assessing their vulnerability to threats originating from the Internet wherever they are linked – whether it’s at home or in a public place.
BCoE created this checklist because it could not find another deemed suitable for a home Internet user/manager to use to gauge safety, privacy and security regarding Internet use. One hope is that survey takers’ responses can be used as part of data provided to public policy groups to assist in focusing on Internet security and privacy matters. Almost all the questions should be recognizable; our goal was to get them into a single questionnaire. This is a living document and it will be posted on the BCoE web site and will be expanded as we get additional inputs.
