The Semester in the City (SITC) program at the University of New Hampshire is proud to introduce its Fall 2023 cohort, a group of exceptional students who are embarking on transformative internships across various organizations. These internships not only provide invaluable real-world professional experience that is well-supported, but also bring fresh perspectives and energy to the city's social and professional landscape.

Nathan Chasse ‘25, Computer and Information Science  
Community Needs Fellow at BioBus 
Nathan Chasse is stepping into his role as a Community Needs Fellow at BioBus with a determination to bridge the gap between technology and community engagement. With his background in Computer and Information Science, Nathan plans to explore the existing need for technology in education, ranging from interactive learning platforms to data analysis. 

Asa Fiske ‘25, International Business 
Business Development Intern at Green City Growers 

With a passion for global business and sustainability, Asa Fiske is taking on the role of a Business Development Intern at Green City Growers. Asa's dedication to international business coupled with his strong environmental consciousness promises to bring innovative strategies to the forefront of urban agriculture. 

Danika Miller ‘25, Sociology 
O'Bryant Writers' Room Fellow at 826 Boston 

Danika Miller's commitment to social equity and creative expression is exemplified through her position as an O'Bryant Writers' Room Fellow at 826 Boston. With a background in Sociology, Danika is poised to empower young voices and amplify the narratives that often go unheard. 

Claire Paley ‘25, History 
Elevate Youth Outdoor Fellow at Elevate Youth 

Claire Paley's passion for history takes on a practical dimension as she assumes the role of Elevate Youth Outdoor Fellow. By blending her academic pursuit of history with hands-on outdoor experiences, Claire aims to inspire the next generation while fostering a deeper appreciation for the past. 

Eryn Poulin ‘24, English Literature 
Special Events Fellow at Uncornered 

As a seasoned senior majoring in English, Eryn Poulin is set to bring her creative flair to the role of Special Events Fellow at Uncornered. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, Eryn will undoubtedly add a unique touch to the organization's events and initiatives. 

Andrew Trout ‘24, Communication 
Wellness Fellow at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology 

Andrew Trout's passion for effective communication and wellness comes to the forefront as he takes on the role of Wellness Fellow at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology. With his expertise in communication, Andrew aims to create a positive and supportive environment for students' holistic well-being. 

Ritu (Rita) Agrawal ‘26, Business Administration: Marketing and Economics 
Communications & Marketing Fellow at Union Capital Boston 
Ritu Agrawal, known as Rita to her friends, is making her mark as a Communications & Marketing Fellow at Union Capital Boston. With dual majors in Marketing and Economics, Ritu is set to blend creativity and strategy to advance the organization's mission and outreach. 

Zoe Buffum ‘24, Sociology and Justice Studies
Healing Support Fellow at Louis D. Brown Peace Institute 

Zoe Buffum's deep commitment to justice and healing comes to life in her role as a Healing Support Fellow at the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute. With a background spanning Sociology and Justice Studies, Zoe's holistic approach creates a safe haven for those in need. Her goal of pursuing equality legal work reflects her dedication to addressing systemic issues and advocating for equity. In her role, Zoe contributes to immediate well-being while taking strides toward her long-term career aspirations.

Jordan Stanley ‘26, Social Work and Sustainability, Dance minor
Programming Fellow at Project 351 

Intertwining her passion for social work and sustainability, Jordan Stanley embarks on a transformative journey as a Programming Fellow with Project 351, assisting the non-profit that selects 8th graders from each of the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts for a year of community service and leadership training. Jordan's multidimensional approach exemplifies the dynamic spirit of innovation and empathy that lies at the heart of her studies. 

Olivia Williams ’26, Undeclared, COLA
Medical Escort Fellow at FriendshipWorks 

Olivia Williams' open-minded approach and eagerness to explore different fields lead her to the role of Medical Escort Fellow at FriendshipWorks. As an undeclared major, Olivia's journey is emblematic of SITC's ability to provide students with valuable experiences that shape their academic and professional paths.
