Sustainability Dual Major

A powerful experience to better understand your field of study through the complex lens of sustainability. It's a compliment to ALL primary majors at UNH. Just 3 required courses and electives. The first required course, SUST 401: Exploring Sustainability, also counts towards your Discovery requirements!

Upcoming Events: Inspire > Educate > Engage

Our events inspire students, faculty, staff, and community members by exposing them to new ideas and to professionals that are making an impact, in an effort to educate and inspire them to become changemakers. We provide opportunities for hands-on, high-impact, experiential learning opportunities to engage our community members in social innovation, the process of developing and deploying effective solutions to challenging and often systemic social and environmental issues in support of social progress. Last call to apply to the B Impact Clinic!Learn what makes B Corps some of the most sustainable companies in the world, then work on a te a.m. (with a peer mentor to support you!) to help one assess their environmental and social impact. Earn 2 credits, open to all majors. Paul students: satisfies 1 BiP.

Climate Action Clinic Final Apps Due

Last call to apply! Learn how to calculate a carbon footprint, then work on a te a.m. (with a peer mentor to support you!) to help a local organization calculate theirs – a skill employers are actively seeking. Open to ALL majors; 2 credits. Paul students: satisfies 1 BiP.

Sustainability Café

5 p.m. - 5 p.m., Join the Sustainability Institute at the Sustainability Cafés! They are a great way to keep in touch with people involved in sustainability on c a.m.pus, to meet new people, and catch up with old friends! All UNH students welcomed!Gather with us in The Den at Holloway Commons (HoCo) on the second floor. Grab your food at HoCo and then meet upstairs for a shared dinner. If you do not have a meal swipe, reach out to this email and we can coordinate appropriate accommodations.
