Fall 2021 B Impact Clinic
Shelly Lancaster was a Wildlife and Conservation Biology Major with a minor in Marine Biology from Louisville, Kentucky. She joined the B Impact Clinic in hopes of using her environmental and wildlife knowledge to promote more sustainable business choices. She participated in a variety of research labs during her time at UNH, working on research projects including trace metal uptake in blue mussels to aquaculture studies involving lumpfish, trout, and bass. Her goal was to use her education and research experiences to mitigate the negative human impacts on the environment and wildlife. This was her second semester participating in the B Impact Clinic and her first as a peer mentor, on the Atlantic Sea Farms team.
