Nathan was a first-year student majoring in Business Administration with an interest in Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. In high school, he was a varsity hockey and track athlete as well as the Vice President of the Young Americans Club. He also interned with the Arlington Soap Box Derby and maintained a venture capital database. Prior to attending UNH, Nathan took a gap year, playing Junior’s hockey and working at a hardwood flooring company. Nathan learned about different cultures and gained new perspectives on Brazil, Guatemala, and Mexico from his co-workers. He became inspired to pursue sustainable solutions to the effects of free trade and labor outsourcing. Nathan’s favorite activities at UNH included hammocking, walking in College Woods, snowboarding, and the Hamel Rec Center. As a Changemaker Fellow, Nathan hoped to help improve international employment conditions and develop environmentally sustainable practices.
