Katelyn Porter

With a focus on farm viability, food access issues, and systems thinking, Katelyn is eager to work with so many great farmers and food hub managers across the state to help create a robust and efficient network of local food producers and distributors.

Katelyn’s spark for sustainable agriculture and food hubs started with her time at UNH studying Environmental Conservation and Sustainability. Upon graduating, she moved to the west coast and spent most of her time in Washington, where she helped establish food hubs, worked for a food coop, managed a couple of farming projects, and more. In early 2021 Katelyn returned to New England to be closer to her roots and to co-found Waking Web Farm, a small-scale, no-till vegetable farm based in Milton, NH.
