Colleen Jennings

Colleen gained most of her early professional experience in New York's Hudson Valley. She graduated with her Masters in English Literature from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2017. While obtaining her degree, Colleen worked for multiple independent local food and lifestyle publications. She focused on supporting the local community of restaurants, farmers, artisans, and other small businesses in the Hudson Valley through the editorial and marketing strategies of both magazines, while also executing strategy, planning, and marketing for events like Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. Early in 2020, Colleen moved from the Hudson Valley to New Hampshire, fulfilling a childhood dream of living where she had loved vacationing with her family for so many years. As a new Granite Stater and lover of local, she is excited to continue the work she is most passionate about: supporting the local economies and food systems in New Hampshire by providing outlets for communication through media and (hopefully soon!) in person events and activations, all in step with the missions of the New Hampshire Food Alliance.
