2020-21 Sustainability Advocate, Handler Hall
Eli headshot

Eli was a sophomore studying Bioengineering and minoring in Philosophy. His favorite part of being a Sustainability Advocate for Handler Hall was learning from his fellow Advocates and sharing their knowledge with Handler residents. As a Sustainability Advocate, Eli worked to increase residents’ awareness of the magnitude of plastic pollution and its connection to the petroleum industry through documentaries, informational Kahoots, and informal conversations. Aside from being a Sustainability Advocate, Eli was a researcher in the Kimlab, a member of the UNH Chapters of the Biomedical Engineering Society and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, a tenor in the Wildtones cappella group, and a member of the reigning B bracket intramural indoor soccer champions (go Roner FC!). Eli is eager to continue learning about ways to be more individually and societally sustainable and to share these ideas with his peers.
