McCallister McBride ‘24

Callie

McCallister McBride was a freshman majoring in Social Work. She joined the Changemaker Fellowship to work with like-minded peers on issues that are important to her and her community. Previously, McCallister was a part of the Souhegan High School’s Ethics Forum that advocated for quality education for all schools in New England by hosting conferences and building leadership groups in schools across the country. As a female three season varsity athlete in high school, she took it upon herself to bring awareness of women’s inequality in athletics and education by creating a Period Poverty project with Families in Transition of Manchester, NH. McCallister is most looking forward to continuing her passion to create sustainable change through Semester in the City and the Social Innovation Internship during her time as a Changemaker at UNH.
