Lauren Sargent was a freshman Biology major in COLSA. In high school, she joined the HOBY Leadership Organization which helped to develop her leadership skills in personal, group, and societal aspects and to increase her involvement and enjoyment in volunteerism. She joined the Changemaker Fellowship to learn how else she can make a difference in her community and the world. She is particularly interested in reducing carbon pollution or reducing the amount of plastic in the ocean.
