Johanne Nichols was a freshman majoring in Economics and was a Paul Scholar as well as part of the Honors College. She joined the Changemaker Fellowship in hopes to find new ways to make a positive impact to the new communities she enters. In high school she was involved in various clubs that focused on making positive change throughout her community. Johanne is interested in finding ways to decrease food insecurity and improve equity throughout society. Later, when she enters the workplace, she hopes to be equipped to make sustainable change through her work as well as for her community. She is looking forward to continuing to learn innovative ways to create change through the Semester in the City Program as well as the B Impact Clinic.
