Changemaker Fellow
Kara was an undeclared first-year student considering a major in Linguistics and Spanish with a minor in French. During high school, they were active in multiple clubs including their newspaper, video announcements, and National Honors Society. Through these experiences, Kara learned to lead and help people with a passion, whether that be through tutoring fellows students or sharing local news. At UNH, Kara was a Changemaker Fellow as well as an Alliance Club and Buddies Without Borders Member. As a Changemaker Fellow, Kara was hoping to expand discussion with everyone on social and environmental matters surrounding their life and the broader Durham community.
