Jillian was a Business Administration major with a focus in Marketing. On campus, she was involved in the UNH equestrian team, serving as one of the captains her junior and senior year. While participating in the SITC @ UNH program, she interned with the UNH Civic and Community Engagement Office where she worked as the Community Engagement Fellow. During her internship, she worked to establish their Salesforce website for the community partners to submit requests for service projects more easily and for students to sign up as volunteers. This internship gave her the opportunity to join listening sessions with students and community partners, design a website, and work on a marketing campaign to launch the new page. Jillian also designed posts for its Instagram page, helped plan UNH Serves, tabled different events such as U-Day, and helped produce the weekly email newsletter. Jillian was the most excited to learn more about getting involved in her community and gaining real-life work experience.
