Kameice was from Saint Thomas, Jamaica, pursuing a MS in Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University in Massachusetts. She previously completed a BA in Growth and Structure of Cities and BA in International Studies from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and had conducted research on climate resilience, transportation planning, and public housing. Ultimately, she hopes to pursue a career in climate resilience, particularly focusing on the needs of Small Island Developing States.
During the summer of 2021, Kameice worked with the Burlington Electric Department to expand the installation of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) at multi-family housing in Burlington, Vermont. She developed a guidance document to help multi-family property owners and property managers navigate EVSE deployment and learn about available incentive programs. Additionally, she assisted in the design and implementation of an incentive program focused on deploying level 2 EVSE at multi-family housing around Burlington.
