The Expectations of Excellence Accreditation Program is the process the Office of Off Campus Engagement & Fraternity and Sorority Life uses to ensure that organizations meet the minimum expectations. The accreditation program provides chapters a tool to indicate their development and values as a part of the University of New Hampshire community.
Chapters can demonstrate their value to the UNH community by providing social and educational enrichment programs to enhance the student experience. Each fraternity and sorority must strive to develop its members into values-driven contributors to the greater society. Through this program, the Office of Off Campus Engagement & Fraternity and Sorority Life supports each chapters’ individual needs while maintaining one standard of excellence for the entire fraternity and sorority community.
This program is a learning outcome based accreditation system that spotlight areas that both the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils, as well as the Office views as imperative learning experiences throughout the fraternal experience. Each chapter is required to complete this program in order to keep recognition and good standing with the University. Topics that are covered in the program are:
- Sexual Assault Prevention and Bystander Intervention
- Leadership Development
- Scholarship and Academic Improvement

- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & Belonging
