STEMbassadors provides a pathway for undergraduate students to engage in an academic and professional preparation program in the STEM classroom. STEMbassadors are a key link to STEM outreach and education.
The goal of the STEMbassador program is to provide UNH students with the opportunity to experience inquiry-based teaching and learning, and to bring that experience, plus exciting activities that we have developed, into the local K-12 classroom. These activities are a chance for the students to interact and educate, as well as introduce an activity that the teacher can implement in their own curriculum.
Program elements
- Online mini-courses with group discussions
- Routine check-in meetings with other STEMbassadors to discuss classroom experiences and provide feedback
- In-person activity days at local K12 classrooms
Our current activity list will be added shortly.
