The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment. As an international science and education program, GLOBE is dedicated to supplying the STEM professionals of tomorrow with the scientific knowledge necessary to tackle Earth's biggest mysteries. Through interdisciplinary activities and inquiries into the various Earth spheres, GLOBE works to build a collaborative, worldwide community of students, teachers, scientists, and the public to conduct real-world research.

The Leitzel Center at UNH is a U.S. GLOBE Partnership that supports formal and informal educators in the state of New Hampshire in doing GLOBE and offers outreach opportunities for STEM professionals and graduate students. Read about some of the recent Leitzel Center’s NH GLOBE activities.

The Leitzel Center also houses the GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office and the North America Regional Office.
