Tina has dedicated a 20-year career to educational non-profit organizations, directing college access and STEM programs for students in grades K-12. Tina holds a degree in Human Biology from Brown University and has served as an educational administrator and environmental science teacher. Prior to her work for YIP, Tina helped lead the Junior Science and Humanities Symposia, and Army Educational Outreach Program sponsored by the DoD. There, she organized a national STEM competition and developed programs to expose students to STEM opportunities. As Director of YIP, Tina is working to expand invention education and STEM exploration in the region through outreach to educators and community based learning organizations. As a founding affiliate of Invention Convention Worldwide, Tina collaborates with STEM leaders throughout the US to develop robust curriculum for students of all ages and backgrounds and invention competitions at local, regional and national levels. She is a dedicated advocate for educational equity, volunteer in her community and serves on the Professional Standards Planning Board for the New Hampshire Department of Education.
