Community Coordinator, Honors College and Hamel Scholars Program
Emily joined the Honors Program (now College) in the fall of 2019. As the Honors College Community Coordinator, she coordinates Honors Gateway Experiences, social programming, and professional development opportunities, and strives to create a rich and welcoming environment for Honors students. Emily also oversees and coordinates the Hamel Scholars, a group of Honors students identified for their academic excellence, leadership qualities , and commitment to service. Emily is a graduate of Dartmouth College and of the University of Oregon School of Law. She has a background as a singer, an actor, a personal chef, and a criminal defense attorney. She is a volunteer board member for the Greengard Center for Autism in Portsmouth, NH.
