Artist Bio

I am a graduate of Natick High Schools, Natick Mass. class of 68. My art career started in Mr. Buck's fifth period art class. John Buck was instrumental in getting me into art school. A great mentor, and friend, he was one of those teachers you hear about "going the extra mile". I owe him alot. Thank you John.

I went on to graduate from the Art Institute of Boston, class of '72, and have been an illustrator and storyboard artist for over thirty five years.

Back in the eighties I headed the illustration department at Hill Holliday Advertising in Boston, and then went on to a freelance career with my own studio on Clarendon Street. My clients included: John Hancock, The Massachusetts Lottery and New England Toyota. I now am retired and paint watercolors, run a small frame shop and do the occasional illustration assignment, with a speciality in caricature.

I am a member of the New Hampshire Art Association, The Kittery art association and the Deerfield Arts Tour, an open studio event held every October. I show my original works at N.W. Barretts on market street in Portsmouth New Hampshire and Artisans Way on Walden street in Concord Mass.
