Throughout this semester-long program, Congressional Fellows learn about politics first-hand from Members of Congress, both in their home District Offices and on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Fellows grow their network of political insiders and understand what it takes to run, win, and serve.

Value: $1,000 stipend and an all expenses paid 3-days of in-person training in Washington, DC and a Congressional internship.
Eligibility: Applicants must be female college juniors or seniors or have graduated from college within a year of the fellowship start date. Running Start looks for applicants who have proven that they are motivated in the classroom and involved in extracurricular activities
