New Department Chair Learning Community
The New Chair Learning Community aims to provide an opportunity for faculty serving in their first or second year as departments chairs across the UNH campuses to meet, discuss topics of shared interest, and work collaboratively to support each other, as well as to develop department leadership skills. New chairs are welcome to come to one or all sessions, as their schedules allow.
Each session will be participant driven. Topics are open to negotiation based on what most interests participants and what participants’ most urgent needs are at a given time. Follow-up before or after each session is welcome – please reach out to the facilitator (Holly Cashman, holly.cashman@unh.edu) to set up a meeting (in-person or virtual) or just drop in early or stay late at any of the sessions. Light refreshments will be provided.
