Program Review
The Program Review process is designed to guide the self-assessment and development of academic programs on a continuous basis. Program Reviews thus support the University’s commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality academic programs, creating a culture of continuous improvement, and adhering to the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) accreditation standards. All degree programs at UNH are required to complete a Program Review. A self-study for an external accreditor may suffice in lieu of a Program Review (a list of externally accredited programs).
The Program Review Policy document provides instructions for completing the Program Review, and also provides guidance for locating the information and data needed to complete the report. Department chairs have access to data dashboards to begin the self-study process. If you are completing a Program Review and you are not a department chair, please connect with your chair to get the data you are seeking. If you are a department chair and have questions about the dashboards, please contact (institutional.research@unh.edu). For any questions or support on completing Program Reviews, contact Susan Chang (susan.chang@unh.edu).
