Unleashing the Educational Potential of Virtual and Augmented Reality Virtual and Augmented Reality offer a number of benefits to teaching and learning. Students experiencing locations they might otherwise be unable to visit, or accessing interactive information in a physical location are just two examples of their strengths. In this session we'll discuss the differences between AR and VR, look at some examples of educational resources and explore the tools used to create them. This session will also have hands-on time with some VR Experiences. |

Part I: Taking the pulse of your classroom | |

The MAP: | The Mid-Course Assessment Process (MAP) is a means to gather student feedback mid-way through the semester through a Qualtrics-based online form. This is a great way to hear from your students about their learning experiences and perceptions of the course so far and to make adjustments, if indicated, before the end of the semester. Students’ responses are completely anonymous, and Instructors receive a confidential report 24-48 hours after the MAP has closed. Learn how you can collaborate with CEITL staff to promote student response rates in an effort to gather useful formative information as you work to refine your course. |
