Transporting Youth Safely CORE 2024-4

This training provides a review of policies pertaining to the safe transport of youth including: the approval process, assessing needs, and pre-planning when traveling with a youth.  All aspects of safe travel are covered, including car and airline travel. This training also includes an in-depth explanation of the three stages of a crash, air bags, seat belts, positioning, proper use of handcuffs when transporting, and implementing a travel plan with youth.
