DURHAM, N.H. - The 15th annual Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) at the University of New Hampshire, featuring more than 1,300 UNH students from all academic disciplines, takes place April 11-26, 2014.

The two-week symposium is a celebration of the university's academic excellence and showcases students scholarly, engaged, and creative research in more than 20 professional and artistic venues at both the Durham and Manchester campus, making

UNH's research conference one of the largest of its kind in the country.

All events are free and open to the public.

Since the first conference was held 15 years ago, an interdisciplinary science and engineering symposium has been added as has a multidisciplinary symposium and an arts component that gives student working in visual and performing arts the opportunity to describe the creative aspects of their process.

The event kicks off Tuesday, April 11, 2014 with an exhibition of graduating art students from the department of art and art history. Paul College of Business and Economics presentations will be held Friday, April 25, and those from the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture on Saturday, April 26.
