Crystal Napoli, a history and justice studies dual major who received a Research Experience and Apprenticeship Program (REAP) grant in 2015, was awarded a Critical Language Scholarship to study in Taiwan in 2016. She went on to receive an International Research Opportunities Program (IROP) grant in 2017, and with it she returned to Taiwan pursue a project titled "Justice in Taiwan’s 'Contact Zone' and the Shaping of Historical Narrative."
