to standard workplace training.
Historically, theatre has been used to educate and inform, as well as entertain. A body of knowledge has emerged that shows Applied Theatre is an effective tool for education and learning in non-traditional theatre environments. The objective of Applied Theatre is to put the audience in the position of Witness; to observe teachable moments in a safe, non-judgemental way and create opportunities for growth in areas such as professional development, conflict resolution, and social awareness and change.

You get to play Experimenter
PowerPlay's Interactive Training Labs are an opportunity to experiment in a safe and spirited atmosphere around the many ways we interact with each other. Trained Actor-Improvisers present familiar scenarios based on difficult workplace experiences. We grant the audience a chance to ask the characters questions, make suggestions about how to navigate the challenges they're facing, and then Rewind the scene and examine in real time how effective those strategies might be.
