Yes, we encourage everyone to register. Registration helps us keep you informed about the schedule and provides you with a small UNH gift and giveaway entry tickets.
Most Family Weekend events are free! However, if you wish to attend the meals, football, or hockey games, you will need to purchase tickets in advance.
Yes, tickets are required for the following events:
- Post-Game Dinner: $20 per person
- Pancake Breakfast: $15 per person
- Women's Hocket Game: Please visit the athletics website for ticket pricing.
There will be a variety of activities around campus. Check the Family Weekend website for updates and find a printed schedule at the check-in tent. Additionally, explore the local area, including hiking trails, downtown Portsmouth, the Kittery outlets, or the Portsmouth Music Hall. For more local attractions, visit Visit NH.
No, Family Weekend is open to the parents and families of all students, not just those new to UNH.
Family Weekend will proceed rain or shine. Please check the weather and plan accordingly. Any schedule changes due to rain will be posted online.
Unfortunately, due to the amount of advance planning, we cannot issue any refunds.
Family Weekend guests should use B-lot*, which opens to the public at 6:00 PM on Friday. Parking in this lot is free of charge. There are also metered lots available on campus for those who arrive earlier or prefer alternative parking.
*If you have purchased tickets for Tailgating, please follow the specific parking instructions provided by UNH Athletics.
Yes, the Weekend Connector Shuttle runs every 25-30 minutes from 10:00 AM to 12:00 midnight on both Saturday and Sunday. For the schedule and map, visit the Weekend Connector Schedule.
Tickets for UNH Football game and tailgating can be purchased online at the UNH Ticket Office.
No, tailgating is a separate option on the ticketing website. If you’re not tailgating, refer to the “Where can I park?” section for parking details.
Yes, the deadline to purchase tickets for the Post-Game Dinner and Pancake Breakfast is midnight on Sunday, September 15.
Yes, pay-at-the-door pricing is available at our dining halls. Visit UNH Dining for more information. Note that UNH Dining is cashless, so please pay with a credit card.
