24-Hour Support

It is important that students have the support they need when they need it. UNH is committed to ensuring staff are always available for student emergencies, including overnight, on the weekend, and when classes aren’t in session.

UNH Police Department

Portsmouth Hospital’s emergency room provides an additional off-campus resource for students managing a medical or psychological emergency. 

Student Death To report information related to a student death, contact the Dean of Students as soon as is possible. The Dean of Students is not available 24/7 so if the situation is an emergency, contact 911.
Additional Residence Hall / Apartment Resources

 

RA/CA on Call Numbers for the specific RA/CA on Call for each residence hall are posted on signage throughout the hall. The RA/CA on Call can get in touch with additional support as needed.
Hall Director / Apartment Manager on Call Professional staff are available 24-hours per day to provide assistance to students living in the residence halls. The RA/CA on Call can reach professional staff if needed.
