Sean McCarthy separated from the US Navy as an O5 (Commander) and Naval Flight Officer, having completed multiple seven-month deployments to Japan, Italy, Puerto Rico, and other undisclosed locations. He is graduating with a Master of Business Administration, which he decided to pursue at UNH because UNH provides the premier MBA program in New Hampshire. Sean’s favorite part about studying at UNH was the interaction with fellow students, which offered a great opportunity to learn from their perspectives and experience. This interaction, he says, “rounds out the academic objectives with real world applications across multiple fields.” Sean’s advice to incoming military students is that “it may be difficult to balance life with going to school, but it isn’t the hardest thing any Vet has ever done. Keep your perspective.” Sean is proud to note that now that he has completed his studies, he has accepted a position with Raytheon as a Senior IT Change Management Lead.
