Seating
The Whittemore Center has accessible seating around the entire arena. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis for guests with ceremony tickets.
Shuttle Service / Parking
Please know that getting to the Commencement site might require as much as a half mile walk. We urge all to arrive early and to expect delays in seating due to crowds. Dropping off guests in front of the Whittemore Center is prohibited.
ADA Accessible Parking
ADA Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis to guests with an ADA placard on their vehicle. ADA parking will be located in D lot at the Alumni Center. Please note, all shuttles are ADA accessible and can accommodate wheelchairs.
All guests with accessibility issues are encouraged to arrive by 1.5 hours prior to the start of the ceremony. and to expect delays in seating due to the crowds.
Wheelchair Rental Information
UNH will not have wheelchairs available for general use by guests at Commencement. Guests with difficulty walking are strongly encouraged to rent wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are generally available for short term rental from medical supply stores and some pharmacies. Reservations are generally required and arrangements should be made early. For Persons Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Services for persons who are deaf/hard of hearing are available. Graduating students will be prompted to request services for deaf/hard of hearing guests when registering for the ceremony. The Commencement Office will contact students who request services for themselves or their guests to make proper arrangements.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and closed captioned video screens are available.
