DURHAM, N.H. -- U.S. News & World Report has ranked the University of New Hampshire’s part-time MBA program among the top 100 in the nation. It also recently ranked the university’s online MBA program in the top 100.

The UNH part-time MBA program is the only ranked program in New Hampshire and all of northern New England. It is designed for working professionals and is offered at the Durham and Manchester campuses.

The ranking reflects recent innovations by the university to update the MBA program curriculum with the introduction of six new specializations, including business analytics, global business, and growth and innovation. The program also provides enhanced flexibility for students to take classes in person or online. These innovations have resulted in a 25 percent increase in enrollment in the last year.

With its commitment to academic excellence, UNH offers the only part-time and online MBA programs in New Hampshire to hold the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation. Only 30 percent of MBA programs in the nation hold this distinction.

“The Paul College part-time MBA program offers a rich learning experience. Students in our program average 10 years of professional experience,” said Deborah Merrill-Sands, dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. “They learn both from one another and from a faculty that brings together experienced practitioners with academics working on the cutting edge of their field.”

U.S. News based its rankings on five criteria for part-time MBA programs: peer reputation, average GMAT and GRE scores of students starting the program; average undergraduate GPA; average number of years of work experience; and the percentage of the total MBA program enrollment that is in the part-time MBA program.
