UNH dancers bring classical ballet to life on Johnson Theatre stage

Wednesday, April 22, 2015

UNH dancers began rehearsing for the annual spring dance company concert last autumn, taking on a big challenge, says professor of ballet Assaf Benchetrit — the “huge masterpiece" classical ballet, Don Quixote. "I wanted to let the students experience this magical process and eventually share it with the audience,” he says. They brought it to the Johnson Theatre stage earlier this month. In this video, Benchetrit and dancers talk about how the dramatic, humorous, romantic show came to life.
