Emerita of education passes away

Barbara Krysiak, associate professor emerita of education, passed away on June 4, 2019. She was 82. She served the Department of Education and University of New Hampshire from 1995-2009. She was devoted to the education profession for over 52 years.
The photo at right was taken in 2004, when Krysiak won the UNH Award for Excellence in Public Service. The award recognized her life-long and unflagging commitment to the welfare and equitable treatment of children.
While there are no calling hours, friends, colleagues and family are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at the University of New Hampshire, Huddleston Hall, 73 Main Street in Durham, NH, on September 22, 2019, at 11 a.m.
