WHAT: University of New Hampshire Commencement
 
WHEN: 10 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016
 
WHERE:  Memorial Field, rain or shine. Simulcast viewing is available in the Whittemore Center Arena.

Richard Haass, the U.S. envoy to the most recent Northern Ireland peace process and currently the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, will deliver the commencement address. John Harrigan and Jameson French will receive UNH's Granite State Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the state. Kate Clifford Larson '03G, an historian, author and leading Harriet Tubman scholar; Col. Colleen Ryan '82, the first female commander of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base; and Haass will receive honorary degrees.

PRESS PASSES: Press passes can be picked up in front of the box office inside the Whittemore Center (lobby) starting at 8 a.m. 

PARKING: General parking is available in Lot A, West Edge and Mast Road lots. Small lots are also open. Lots D, H, N, and Z are closed. There are no fees and no passes are required for general parking in any of the open lots.
