Middle and High School Students Invited to UNH Equine Education Day April 17
DURHAM, N.H. - High school and middle school students are invited to learn more about the equine industry at the University of New Hampshire Equine Senior Capstone Experience annual Equine Education Day Friday, April 17, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Now in its third year, the Equine Education Day provides fun, interactive clinics presented by the UNH Equine Program's graduating senior class at the UNH Equine Facility on Mast Road Extension. The clinics hosted this year include Course Design and Building, Equine Facilitated Visiting students will have a chance to learn about different avenues of the equine industry, as well as a chance to work directly with the university horses. There also will be a representative from the university's admissions office to talk with students about applying to UNH. Offering both two and four-year degrees, the UNH Equine Program combines award-winning equestrian teams with strong academics and outstanding opportunities for hands-on learning, including on-site USEF/USEA recognized horse trials and PATH International premier operating center which give students real-world experience in the equine industry.
