UNH Center for Family Business Hosts Seminar on Successful Family Business Transitions Jan. 18

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire Center for Family Business will host "Successful Family Business Transitions" Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012. The program begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast at the Derryfield Country Club, 625 Mammoth Road, Manchester, and will be followed by lunch and networking at noon.

A panel of family business experts will discuss the decision making path in the business success process and how different choices impact the ultimate transition of a business. The discussion also will include general gift and estate tax issues that are integral to successful transitions.

The speakers include Paul Lorenzetti, president of Corflex, Inc.; Chuck Thorndike, former owner of Annalee Dolls; and David Drolet, president of General Linen. The panel will be moderated by Pierce Atwood attorney Jack Sanders.
