UNH Police Investigate Report of Stolen Vehicle from Campus Parking Lot

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire Police Department is investigating the report of a stolen motor vehicle from a campus parking lot late Sunday night.

James M. Lee of Medford, Mass., reported that he parked his red 1994 Mercury Cougar with Massachusetts registration 82EC92 in the Alumni Center parking lot while visiting friends on Saturday, April 9, 2011. When he returned to his car Sunday night April 10, 2011, the car was missing.

UNH police immediately checked the rest of campus and with local towing companies. The stolen car was entered into the National Crime Information Center and local law enforcement agencies were notified.
