WMUR/UNH Election Poll: Energized Republicans, Depressed Democrats In 2010

DURHAM, NH - Republicans in New Hampshire are more excited about the upcoming election than Democrats. Turnout among Republicans will be higher, giving them advantages in many races.
These findings are based on the latest WMUR/UNH New Hampshire Election Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. Eight hundred thirty-five (835) randomly selected New Hampshire adults were interviewed by telephone between October 7 and October 12, 2010. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 3.4%. Included was a sample of 709 likely voters (margin of sampling error +/- 3.7%).
