UNH Seacoast Alumni Chapter Hosts Executive Forum Nov. 4, 2010

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire Seacoast Alumni Chapter will hold its first Executive Forum breakfast Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at the Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center. The event is open to the public but registration is required.

Speaker Mark Galvin, managing director of the New Hampshire Innovation and Commercialization Center (NH-ICC), has spent 20 years helping startup companies achieve success. He will discuss his work and the impact UNH and its resources have had on his business and his clients.

The NH-ICC, in partnership with the University of New Hampshire, is dedicated to accelerating the development of early-stage, high-tech startups and to the commercialization of UNH intellectual capital. Providing sales, operations, marketing and finance experts, the NH-ICC helps startup companies turn intellectual capital into successful commercial business ventures.

Registration and networking begin at 7:30 a.m.; Galvin's talk begins at 8:15 a.m. The Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center is located at the new Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Portsmouth on 100 Deer Street.
