Yashwant Prakash Vyas, director of UNH’s Aulbani J. Beauregard Center for Equity, Justice, and Freedom and adjunct faculty of management in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, was recognized with the Outstanding International Education Initiative Award by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA)-College Student Educators International at their centennial celebration and annual conference in Chicago, Illinois.
ACPA–College Student Educators International is a major international comprehensive student affairs association that advances student affairs and engages students for a lifetime of learning and discovery. It is a leading U.S.-based scholarly professional association headquartered in Washington, D.C. at the National Center for Higher Education.
The Outstanding International Education Initiative Award recognizes outstanding programs and educational initiatives that support international education and global dimensions of student development. This award is presented by the Association’s Commission for Global Dimensions of Student Development.
Vyas also presented on culturally responsive student retention programs and leadership development at the conference.
