One man hands another an award

Larry Mayer, director of UNH’s Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping, received the Canadian Hydrographic Association’s Sam Masry Award at the 2022 Canadian Hydrographic Conference. The award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the hydrography profession and is presented at each Canadian Hydrographic Conference.  Mayer is the second person to receive the honor after Masry, a digital mapping pioneer, was given the award posthumously in 2020.
