Melissa Beecher has been named director of the Memorial Union Building and Student Activities. Beecher has served as an academic advisor for Paul College for the last three years. In this role, she has built leadership development experiences for students and developed a new early-arrival program called SPARK. Prior to coming to UNH, she was the director of Student Activities and Leadership at Babson College where oversaw the student union, programming, leadership development, orientation and fraternity/sorority life.
“After a competitive search process, Melissa distinguished herself with many years of experience managing a student union and student activities prior to joining UNH,” says Stacey L. Hall, executive director of Student Engagement and Development. “I am excited for Melissa to lead the MUB and Student Activities to better meet the needs of our students and community.”
