A sports season cut short. A personal story of cancer. Beer going bad. The nuances of hiking during COVID-19. These are just a few of the stories students in Scott Ripley’s advanced reporting/multimedia course told when asked to document how an aspect of their lives have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Senior Meghan Murphy won first place in UNH's 2020 BIG Contest for her story on a gymnast missing the rest of her season. Elena Gregory ’20 took second place with her video “Cancer Patient,” which tells the story of her father's battle with pancreatic cancer amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
