UNH collects PPEs for New Hampshire healthcare workers

Ron O’Keefe of the UNH police department emergency management team and Yige Wang, director of the university’s Chinese Institute, with PPEs being donated to the state’s healthcare workers.
Yige Wang, director of UNH’s Confucius Institute, along with other members of the UNH community, spent weeks collecting donations to buy personal protective equipment (PPE) desperately needed by healthcare workers. On April 21 Wang delivered the supplies that are headed to the New Hampshire Emergency Center for distribution around the state. Items included 500 KN95 masks, 5,000 surgical masks as well as surgical gowns, gloves and boot and shoe covers.
