The NH Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is pleased to announce it has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Children’s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families (ACF). The grant will go toward programs and services that are designed to strengthen young families, including those at highest risk for child maltreatment. The award for the first year is for $550,000; the State expects to receive a total of $2.75 million over five years. New Hampshire’s application included funding for evaluation services by the UNH Institute on Disability and the UNH Carsey School of Public Policy.
